2012 has come & gone, in a flash! I can't believe it is March of 2013. Bluebonnets will raise soon, I can hear my Kcrew yelling to go swimming as summer arrives.
Well, since I have not added to the blog in a year here are a few highlights.
All year long we have been building a new home in the country aka The 902. It is finished and we are moved in!  To  relieve the stress of building, Scott and I went on an adventurous trip to Costa Rica. Totally amazing place to visit! I tried zip lining for the first time and trekking on a hill side to swim in a waterfall.
We ended the year with a Texas White Christmas in Dallas. Snow angles and snowballs were awesome to make. December is always a magical time.
NOW it's 2013 and this Kcrew is busy with softball, MMA and Girl Scouts. Stay tune for more updates sooner than later.

Merry Christmas & Hello 2012!

Well we had a great Christmas as always. Lots of family and Church time on our two weeks off of school and work. Scott was a real sport to play Santa in our Church childrens' service. He is AWESOME! We also had fun playing in "Texas Snow" at Church & at our neighbors house. I think we are ready for the real thing. Not only do we celebrate Jesus birthday in December but we remember when we moved to Houston, 6 years ago. Our family is very grateful and blessed by all the friends we have met and have turned into our family. Being far from our family is tough sometimes but our H-Town peeps are a blessing from God.

Koonce's invade Disney World

We had a magical dream vacation at Disney World. It was the girls first plane ride experience. If you ask the girls why we took a plane to Florida, they will tell you " Because Dad doesn't drive more than 7 hours in a car." The things my kids say!

Where as the time gone??

Happy 2011! Oh, wait. It is August 2011!?! We have been one busy family & blogging is not on the priority list here. I do have pics & here are some of the girls this summer.

Nothing is better than spending time in Dallas with Granny Rose & Grandpa. Each spent a week on their own personal vacation, horseback riding, swimming & shopping.

Now summer is ending & our first Disney vacation is just days away. I can look forward to a new school year with Trista in kindergarten, Alysha in 3rd grade & Victoria in 4th grade. I have no babies just sweet little girls on the brisk of pre-teen years. I hope to share more now that I have more free time.

Happy Halloween

Fairy Trista

Trista getting the pumpkin brains out

Halloween weekend was a blast this year. We were unable to go on our annual trip to Dallas this year. So we made it fun at home. During the week Trista had her school parade & parties. While Alysha & Victoria had dress up days at school. Friday, our church always has a Trunk or Treat for the kids. It was wonderful seeing al the costumes & spending time with friends. That evening we went to our neighbors house for a pumpkin carving party. The kids all got their hands messy with pumpkin brains and drew faces for daddy to carve out. The best quote of the night (9pm) came from Alysha, "Mom, when does this party end?"

Zoo Boo & Dinosaurs

So that ended our night out. Saturday, We went to the zoo. The dinosaurs were the only things the girls wanted to see. Until I told them about the halloween activites & train. Let's just say it was a long day at Herman Park. I think Halloween night will be our quite night at home. ; 0 )
Happy Halloween!

Austin City Limits Festival 2010

As a TRUE Austinite & a FAN of music, I just had to experience ACL. Why did it take me so long???
Oh yeah, I have three kids and a husband who does not like crowds. But this year was special, our 10 year anniversary!! I actually was able to do something I wanted to do!! We had a blast. I can't put into words what its like. It's an event that is one of a kind. I have never been to a more "GREEN" event ever. We were there when the gates opened to the theme song of Star Wars and stayed till the closing act. I have the sun burn to prove it. We started out watching Grace Potter & The Nocturnal, who were AWESOME! Took in some Hip Hop/ Rap with NinjaSonik, which are a very funny group. Then The Gaslight Anthem, Silversun Pickups, LCD Soundsystem, DeadMau5 & Muse. It was an amazing day. I just love music and dancing, that sometimes I think I don't feed that side of myself very often. Food Note- I had my very first Mighty Cone. It was very good. And to drink.....SWEET LEAF TEA! Yes, it is my fav. It's an Austin thing cause no one around here drinks it. You can take the girl out of Austin but you can't take Austin out of the girl. Which means nothing shocks me. I've seen it ALL. To the 60 yr old man in the mini floral skirt with a mini black tutu for evening, wear them proud and loud! To conclude my longest blog ever, I was at home and that always puts a smile on my face. I feel I can be myself and so can everyone else.
